Coagulation Factors - Factor IX
Anti-hemophilic
factor is a sterile solution of concentrated Factor VII, VIII, or
IX, protein substances in the blood plasma that are essential to the
blood clotting process. Factor VIII is administered intravenously
for the treatment of Factor VIII deficiency, also known as
Hemophilia A. Factor IX is administered intravenously for the
treatment of Factor IX deficiency, also known as Hemophilia B.
