Indications: XYNTHA is an antihemophilc factor indicated for: - Control
of Bleeding Episodes in
Hemophilia A: XYNTHA
Antihemophilic Factor
(Recombinant),
Plasma/Albumin-Free is
indicated for the control and prevention of bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A
(congenital factor VIII
deficiency of classical
hemophilia).
- XYNTHA does not contain
von WIllebrand factor, and
therefore is not indicated
in von Willebrand's disease
- Surgical prophylaxis in patients with hemophilia A:
XYNTHA Antihemophilia Factor
(Recombinant),
Plasma/Albumin-Free is
indicated for surgical
prophylaxis in patients with
hemophilia A.

that include single-use (Freeze
Dried) vials that contain
nominally 250, 500, 1000, or
2000 IU per vial or dual-chamber
syringes that contain nominally
1000, 2000, or 3000 IU per
