Cervical dystonia (also known as spasmodic
torticollis) is a focal dystonia that affects the neck and
shoulders. The condition can be primary (without related
conditions) or can be causes by physical trauma.
Symptoms of
cervical dystonia include involuntary contracting of the neck
muscles, abnormal movement or awkward posture of the head and neck
which may be sustained and /or jerky. |
