Injectables - Glatiramer Acetate for Injection
Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease in which the body begins attacking the myelin sheaths which protect and support nerve cells, slowing or stopping nerve impulses. Symptoms of MS vary, depending upon the nerves attacked by the disease. A relapse is a period in which the body damages the nerve cells, with a remission following in which the attacks stop and there are no new signs of disease activity.
While there is no cure for MS, many products can help in the management of the disease, particularly those which extend the length of and frequency of periods of remission.
